University of Toronto Go Club meeting cancellation

posted Sep 7, 2020, 1:02 PM by Johnny Lau

Greetings from The University of Toronto Go Club!

Hi everyone, and welcome to a new semester!

Unfortunately, it looks like we won't be able to meet for the foreseeable future, since we can't book rooms due to COVID. However, we are looking into the possibility of having a few informal meetings if we can secure some meeting space elsewhere. We will also send an email if any events are held in the Toronto area from other clubs.

In the meantime, feel free to use the Toronto Go Discord server or our OGS group to find other players to play online or in-person.

Cancellation until further notice

posted Mar 13, 2020, 7:06 PM by Johnny Lau   [ updated Aug 11, 2020, 5:58 PM ]

The Toronto Go Club will not be meeting for the rest of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Message from the 519:

The 519 will be closed as of March 14th and we are cancelling all community-led group meetings and events until further notice, based on Toronto Public Health’s guidance around discouraging social gatherings in public spaces, and the City of Toronto’s decision to close all community centres and community recreation centres.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide the further information as soon as we are able to. You can also email should you have further queries.
